Orient und den Okzident, beide Charakter innerhalb eines Produktes zu vereinen- aus diesem Ansatzpunkt rührt die Gestaltung des Gewüzmühlensets.

Die geradlinige Form der Mühle entspricht dem industriellen Charakter der westlichen Kultur. Sie abstarahiert auf minimalistische Weise die Silhouette eines Minarett Turmes. Den oberen Teil ziert ein ägyptisches Muster, welches durch die wechselnde raue und glatte Oberfläche eine ähnliche haptische Wahrnehmung erzeugt, wie bei gerändelten Drehteilen.

Die konkave Fläche des unteren Teiles ermöglicht das einfache Befüllen der Mühle.

Starting of the project new patterns was to unite the Orient and the Occident into one product. The design combines both character, west and east, into a new whole.

The product is a spice mill, consists of two parts. The straight shape of the mill corresponds to the industrial character of Western culture. In a abstaract and minimalistic way, the shape shows the silhouette of a minaret tower. The upper part is decorated with a Egyptian pattern. The alternating rough and smooth surface generates a similar haptic perception, as in knurled parts.

The concave surface of the lower part allows a easy filling of the mill.
